New Horse
After years of only three horses on the ranch, we have a new filly. Her name is Takoda and she came at the beginning of August.
Wildfire North of Lincoln
At about noon on Labor Day 2008, a wildfire broke out on Gladding Road just north of Wise Road about 4 miles north of Lincoln, California, only 4 miles south of the Lazy Oak Ranch. Before the end of the day, the fire had encompassed over 1000 acres and burned several homes and outbuildings.
